Terms of Service

By creating an account, signing in (including via Sign in with Google), or using any part of ISKOOLE, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• Students enrolled in a participating school (under school supervision).
• Teachers and school administrators authorised by their school.
• Parents and guardians invited by a school or student.
• Schools and educational institutions in Sri Lanka.

Users under 18 must use the platform with the consent and oversight of a parent, guardian, or their school.

You may create an account using your email and password, or by choosing Sign in with Google.

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You must provide accurate, current information when creating your account.
• You may revoke ISKOOLE's Google access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• You may request account and data deletion by emailing info@iskoole.com.

You agree not to:

• Use ISKOOLE for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to compromise platform security.
• Access accounts, schools, or data that do not belong to you.
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Post abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory content.
• Use the platform to harass students, teachers, parents, or staff.

Schools and users retain ownership of the content they upload (notices, lessons, marks, photos, etc.). By uploading content you grant ISKOOLE a limited licence to host, display and process that content solely to operate the service.

Our handling of personal data, including Google user data, is described in our Privacy Policy. By using ISKOOLE you consent to that policy.

We work hard to keep ISKOOLE running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or modify features for maintenance, upgrades, or security at any time.

ISKOOLE may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
• Misuse the platform or harm other users.
• Attempt to compromise platform security or integrity.

You may close your account at any time by contacting info@iskoole.com.

ISKOOLE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet every specific requirement of your school.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISKOOLE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

ISKOOLE may link to or integrate with third-party services (including Google, YouTube, Facebook, and content uploaded by schools). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at iskoole.com/terms. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
